Health Providers Alliance NT Official Launch and Health Matters Introduction

March 2017 saw the official launch of HPANT held in Darwin, with health professionals from multi-disciplines spread over the Territory in attendance.

2017 will be an exciting year for Health Providers Alliance NT and its members with the inaugural Health Matters Series, which will include functions, networking and educational events Territory wide.

In the Inaugural Year of the Health Matters Series, Health Providers Alliance NT will host several events inviting industry leaders to Darwin as guest speakers for our networking events. With the Alzheimer’s Australia NT joining HPANT in May for an information networking evening, sharing information about the services they offer and about Alzheimer’s disease and other neurogenerative diseases.

These events welcome an audience of industry professionals who have the opportunity to not only hear from our speaker, but also use the events as a networking platform to build strong business relationships within the health provider community.

Health Providers Alliance NT will also host various social and CPD events for our members and guests including networking events in the remote, rural and urban locations of the Northern Territory.

With key speaker Dr. Hugh Heggie (pictured left with the Chair of HPANT – Helen Summers) telling the tales of over 20 years’ experience in the Northern Territory health sector and how it worked for him.

NT PHN Staff were in attendance to provide information regarding workforce, practice support and new initiatives available for NT practitioners.
